Back when I worked at the movie theatre, I participated in a joint health and safety team with a couple of coworkers and a couple of managers.
We work together to address any safety or health hazards.
Part of my job is to do a walkthrough of every theatre screen.
I split up tasks with another coworker, and one of my tasks was making sure the emergency exit doors were functional and unobstructed.
One of the emergency exit doors leads to the outdoors via an open stair steps. On the stair steps was shit. Just a big pile of shit.
Now, me trying to give benefit of the doubt, I thought someone might've been walking their dog who took a shit on the steps and just didn't bother picking up after their dog.
Well, that theory went out the window when I saw used toilet paper right next to the shit.
The toilet paper was stuck onto the steps using a little bit more shit to paste the toilet paper onto the steps.
The joint health and safety team conducts these walkthroughs on a monthly basis. The shitty stairs were discovered at the height of summer, where temperatures reached 35C on average.
That shit could have been sitting there for a month, baking in the heat.
My coworker cleaned it up, and we both witness the godawful stench of a baked shit. It looked like it had a crisp outside, with a fluffy inside. I quit the health and safety team that day.
