although arguably not his best line or quote, here it goes, from the book Photomaton & Vox, 1979, by Herberto Helder - translated by me as I didn't find any other (warning! may be a bad translation):

although arguably not his best line or quote, here it goes, from the book Photomaton & Vox, 1979, by Herberto Helder - translated by me as I didn't find any other (warning!

may be a bad translation):

"about poetry one can still say: - the lighted lamp makes you see the lamp itself"

this line appears in brackets in one text where he develops his notion of creating a poem. what do you think? :)
