Nathaniel Key looks down at the body that the team had just un-earthed. "He's been here for days. But died recently." he said.
He could tell from the decomp of the body that the victim had been dead for under twenty four hours. Next to him Leslie takes down notes.
"The clues he left weren't much, this was too easy, do you think He'll try for a more complicated system with his next victim?" she asked.
Nathaniel sighed. He didn't know and he didn't want to know. He wished they had caught the bastard this time. The Clue Maker is a menace to society. They had to catch him. Fast.
Night veiled New York in darkness hours ago; Peter had kept him late and they had just left. Neal opted to walk home.
He wanted to stop by a winery for a bottle to replenish what Mozz had just finished due to the case keeping Neal away from their planning.
Peter thought something was up and Neal had to do a lot of back tracking and covering. They'd still have to give it some time for Peter to calm down, and a good case to get the man distracted.
