There's a certain kind of sadness in a late night out. As if, for a night, we had allowed ourselves to be who we wanted. Outside the dry bones of 9-5, of scraping by, of not even knowing the slightest what it means to scrape by because your parents could bail you out with just a simple call.

There's a certain kind of sadness in a late night out. As if, for a night, we had allowed ourselves to be who we wanted.

Outside the dry bones of 9-5, of scraping by, of not even knowing the slightest what it means to scrape by because your parents could bail you out with just a simple call.

And I'm still not sure whether I find that liberating, or like a cage, in its own, comfortable, privately educated, college accepted, rent half paid kind of way.
