If walls could talk

by anominous

As the leaves on the ground dance around me in the wind, I peck inside the dirty windowpane....

I see the evidence that at one point in time, there was human existence in this old, run-down broken structure once called a home....

As I make my way in, I see all the things left behind by the people who once, inhibited this dwelling, sorrow washes over me, as I see a portrait of the once beautiful structure I stand in today

I spot a family photograph, I pick it up and examine it for a moment....

It gets me to wonder, what secrets must these walls hold? What would these walls say if they could communicate?....

Would they tell me about the hope's and dream's of its residents? Maybe about the heartache of a mother who lost her child to illness? Perhaps about a troublesome time in someone's life?...

What stories would these walls tell..... What would our walls say about us?....

Would they make comments about our daily routines? Would they maybe make statements about our families?....

How we interact with one another? Would they talk about the kind of company we entertain?....

What would our walls say about us?.... If walks could talk.......

Interesting question... It gets us thiñking about how we've acted in our life, how we've lived, and loved. If walls could talk, would they have a good testimony of us? That is a big question. The visuals of this poem were well chosen, giving a sombering feel to it. Well done.

The graphics were incredible they enhanced the message from you wording. This ios an oft reopested theme. And why? Because we yearn for the story.
