Cinquain. Silence. It haunts the halls that used to teem with noise whenever you and I collide within...

Solo | Silence

Solo | These simple cinquains are part of 'Solo,' a collection of nine poems dedicated to the concept of isolation, solitude and individuality.

Solo | Silence

Silence.

Silence. It haunts the halls

Silence. It haunts the halls That used to teem with noise

Silence. It haunts the halls That used to teem with noise Whenever you and I collide

Within.

Silence

Silence Was all that's left

Silence Was all that's left When things began to change,

Silence Was all that's left When things began to change, When we both drifted far apart

Like clouds.

Silence,

Silence, When I returned,

Silence, When I returned, As if I never left,

Silence, When I returned, As if I never left, To where my soul was meant to be.

I'm home.

END
