A Spider’s Web

So soft and simple Breaks to the touch of your hand As if made out of wisps of pure wind In an instant, it vanishes

Yet, the strand are not so simple Each one Crafted so carefully To fulfill it’s duty

And each strand Meticulously woven To create entrancing patterns To mesmerize the world And all it’s creatures

But alas The human’s hand of destruction Rids the web from the land Along with its effort Forever
