Rising in the sky, like a golden hot air balloon. Only to sink below the horizon, shortly after noon. Then floating out of the fog, upon a silver cloud. Came the moon in all her glory, covered in a beautifully smooth shroud.
The day was short, to give the moon glory well deserved. So the sun, he waited patiently below the horizon, reserved. I wish the sun well, because his one day off is here. And lucky him, because this only happens once a year.
This poem or whatever it want's to be called, is for the Winter Solstice today! It's also the Great Conjunction today, which means both Jupiter and Saturn (the two largest planets in our solar system) will nearly overlap to create a "double planet" effect.
Happy Winter Solstice! Stay safe and warm :) -AnimeVampire05
