Strey sits atop the pier focused on the target at hand, wondering what will be enough? Will her plans and years of self training weather the storm?
Will all the bodies she's discarded and used as a stepping stool to avenge those who have suffered make it worth it? Strey inhales deeply and closes her eyes.
The bullet incased itself in the brain of her target before busting through the back of the head. There was a moment of silence as her matter spread itself over those in close proximity.
The screaming began. Weapons were drawn. People scattered, some ducked to the floor, some stood frozen in shock, most ran for an exit. The doors were wired to only let those in and not leave.
Black smoke filled the room as the fires Strey set grew. The panic fully set in and she watched them all suffer, imprinting the scene with her eyes. She felt no remorse. No Pain. No guilt.
No shame. They chose their fate.
Strey slid into the dark, salty sea without a single ripple.
"BREAKING NEWS! 18 UNDERGROUND HHH ACTIVISITS FOUND DEAD!"
"Cause of deaths is currently noted by arson. We are on scene with our crew we are showing you live footage of the blazing fire behind us.
The Korain fire department is still trying to tame the fires before going in to search for survivors.
So far, we know that is a known Hell Hath Humans site that is normally occupied by the group in numbers.
HHH activists are human activists known for their racists rhetoric and acts of violence against all of the other species.
They were previously being investigated by the Korain tasks force for the hanging of 6 young, missing boys and was acquitted due to lack of evidence. Their early deaths were ruled a suicide.
The more we get, the more you'll know!....."
Strey cut the tv off. Lying in the dark on her twin bed, she relived those moments only an hour prior over and over again in her head.
Their recent pain and suffering were nothing compared to years and years of torment she had witnessed first hand by those humans.
Her people; slaughtered, hunted, raped, beaten, robbed, and left for dead. Hundreds of years. Hundreds of thousands of lives decimated, lost. She could not feel for those she killed.
They deserved it. Every life she had taken was a repayment to every life that was stolen. Strey sworn to be swivel that made the tables turn. The bus that always arrived on time.
The thunder storm that rained upon your sun shined day. She is the embodiment of Karma, and that is what she will be.
