Revival

A little poem to remind you that you can rebuild, no matter how hopeless it seems

In a giant’s halo, still A nebula will cast its light At the expense of its destruction It powers through its plight

It channels all its energy To rebuild across the stars A core of iron, hardened, strong Is my creation, no longer ours

The ash dispersed by nature’s breath Creates a flaming life The quartz once weathered by the waves Perfects the sharpened knife

The survivors of a shipwreck Will find their way to shore Do not mistake a bloody battle For victory in war
