Note to self: Don't let another storm ruin your perfectly decent life. The sun will always shine again.

Torrential

I admired the rain today,

I admired the rain today, I watched as it fell,

I admired the rain today, I watched as it fell, Delicately,

I admired the rain today, I watched as it fell, Delicately Yet passionately.

I admired the rain today, I watched as it fell, Delicately Yet passionately.

As if there was nowhere else in the world that it would rather be

It's poetic really,

It's poetic really, How a simple storm,

It's poetic really, How a simple storm, Can ruin a perfectly good day.

It's poetic really, How a simple storm, Can ruin a perfectly good day. Only because we allow it to...

But then something else happened today,

I marveled at the sun,

I marveled at the sun, Breaking through the clouds,

I marveled at the sun Breaking through the clouds, To remind me

I marveled at the sun Breaking through the clouds, To remind me That it's still there.

Even in the most torrential storms.
