Power of ink

by ameagami

A barren reality I wake up to everyday It's hard to cling onto hope When you know there's nothing for you out there

Emptiness is choking me I reach to my pen and draw a reason to breath I fill my ink bottle with my dreams Give my imagination words that can be seen Materialize my fantasies

Behold the power of ink Create the world at the moment you'd love to live in it What a lovely change of scenery , so refreshing Walking back to the real world , you feel ready for it

@ameagami Don't thank me you earned my accolades. I give them as a gift that you do not have to repay. You a failure? Open your eyes. Read your own works. Read your own comments to other people. You, my child, are a rare treasure. You cannot be a failure at the age of 29. That is just impossible. It is contrary to the laws of relativity. By the age of 29, I had killed hundreds of people with my rifle. At 31 I married my wife and became a registered nurse. In my nursing career I saved 20 to 30 times as many lives than I took as a soldier. As long as you are alive, you are not a failure. You always have touched people in a meaningful way.

@bernardtwindwil I wish I knew how to thank you for your encouraging and kind words, since my mom passed away writing became my only friend , I sadly proved in my 29 years of life that I'm a complete failure , so to hear that my writing is well done makes me feel like I'm on cloud nine , thank you so much ....I wish you a long and healthy life filled with happiness and love , you're an amazing person

Absolutely wonderful. Your writing, though sad, sent shivers through me because it is so well done. Depression is a real thing like a stone or wave in the ocean. I have no advice for you. But I have a request. Keep on writing. I am an old man approaching my last days more rapidly than I want. Your verses give me wings. Thank you. Great job!!!!
