If life was a book

by ameagami

If life was a book Your life is like a best seller Yet you continually complain That the quality of it's pages don't suit your taste

I'm drained to the point I can't even stand yet you're drowning me in a sea of demands Suffocating me with your commands And in the end you say I never lent you a hand

I wasted my life writing your book While mine and Ink never got to meet Oh how much I regret what I've done to me

Touch. This was an appealing ode to the narcissist. Great poem!!!
