As a kid I believed life would be perfect if I had a doll We couldn't afford it so I treated my pillow as one I called her lisa and we were happy together

I grew older And my family became better off That's when life decided to teach me the true meaning of loss

We don't really appreciate the things we have cause we're busy looking for more Don't get me wrong money is important But it can't buy a shoulder to cry on Or someone you feel safe around

It can't even buy you a good night sleep

As a grown up I believe life would be perfect if you're happy And you can be perfectly happy with whatever you have Happiness is a state of mind It comes from the heart Not from a credit card
