From the beginning

by Ame Agami

Hour after hour Now so many years have passed After I built what I thought was ours My existence considered a trespass

I found comfort in denial When I couldn't accept the fact That you're using all of your power Just to push me out of our dream land I took a moment and found Enjoying life is a missed chance

The clock keep on ticking Tighter the noose keep on getting Chocking me as my mind questioning me Did we run out of time

To whatever left in my lifeline I'm desperately clinging. Praying I still have enough time to start my life from the very beginning

Very nice writing. You kept a tempo that fit the melancholy that was growing with each stanza. Strong work.
