Five rulers stood before an oval-shaped table. All of their hands rested on the backs of their chairs. They gripped them as if their lives depended on it.
All of their hearts were beating fast. It was almost as if everyone was in sync. Wide-eyed breathing uncontrollably, and trembling. Sweat accumulated on each of their brows.
An obese woman in black robes with black feathers at the end walked around the table. "Tsk," she tutted at them. In her left hand, she held five vials.
Her bare feet slid gracefully against the white and green marble floor. "Five great rulers. Aria, the good queen."
A thin, tall, and willowy women nodded. " I am her, Delora." Aria swallowed looking around the room.
Delora moved in a flash. A trail of black smoke was left behind. She snarled in Aria's face. Her eyes went wide, and she unhinged her jaw screaming.
"I know who you are!" Delora suddenly calmed down and dropped five bottles in front of Aria. She smiled and made her way around the table.
"Jade the emperor of the east," she passed behind a king with tan skin, narrow eyes and his black hair in a bun. Delora caused his dō to buckle and become heavy.
It caused Jade to gag and fall his knees. Jade's Kusazuri also suddenly weighed a ton as well.
Delora made her wave to the next king. Eaglefire king of the natives of this land. She passed by a slightly older man with tanned skin. " Protection of your animals will not last forever.
" She rounded the table and touched the back of the next king his darker skin rippled and charges of purple electric. The electric left his body sending Delora back. "I am king O'esame.
My people welcome your torment for we believe adversity makes us stronger."
Delora snarled slamming her hands on the ground. She got up impossibly fast and reached the last king. A fair-skinned obese man who seemed to shriek at her approach.
King Fredrick, the gluttonous pig. "Here is your choice." She rounded the table to the beginning placing her hands on Aria's shoulders. "I have five vials in front of the good queen.
Each bottle corresponds to a kingdom. Each bottle is a different kind of poison. And before you ask these are not normal poisons.
" Delora smirked before continuing, "One poison equals her kingdom's safety. If she chooses two so on and so forth. They are safe. Whoever she doesn't choose will suffer immensely."
Delora backed away from the table. Showing her hands. "I, a course will not influence the decision."
The kings look at Aria wide-eyed. King Fredrick seemed teary-eyed. "I can't ask you to chose mine."
O'esame hit the table with his fist. "We welcome adversity."
Eaglefire turned away as a spirit eagle painfully dug into his shoulders. "Honor says no. We can not I can not allow you to do this."
Jade looked down. "I can fight a thousand soldiers. I can not fight disease or hunger again. My people have suffered. Do not think me weak. I must think of them.
It feels wrong against my honor." Jade turned his head to look at Aria.
"I hear you." Aria closed her eyes and released her chair. "I also know you all have limits and travesty's against one another. To promote peace." Aria swopped up all five bottles.
She quickly uncapped them and spilled all of them into her mouth ungracefully.
"No Delora rushed toward Aria. " You were supposed to choose your kingdom and only your kingdom."
All the kings and the emperor shot her a glare.
I mean Delora chuckled nervously. "This isn't over!" She shouted in rage before disappearing in a thick cloud of black smoke.
