my life, a poem

In Closing

I guess you could say my life

is a balancing act between

wanting to live and

wanting to die

It's a walk on a tightrope

swaying side to side

I can only hope whichever way I fall

will be a joyful ride

Read my palms and tell me

my future

look passed my old wounds

and broken sutures

There's nothing to see

is there?

I'm not surprised

as this is the ending of my life.
