As humans we tend to desire better and better,
It's an ever inclining slope that becomes less and less obtainable every day.
With such low chances of fully obtaining a 'better' life why is it we still keep raising the stakes?
Perhaps if we stopped putting such emphasis on the future we can start to live now.
I ask you this, does a life lived in the future ever satisfy the heart of a person of the present?
It is in my belief that one who spends their life constantly reaching for the wealth of the future will never fully realize the beauty of the now.
However there is a delicate balance to be upheld in life, as in all things.
Change is an integral aspect of our lives.
If we stay fully content with our reality at every waking moment then what will happen to the things we view as pragmatic?
Left uncorrected hate will beget hate and sorrow will beget sorrow.
We do need to tread a thin line when living our lives.
There is a time to look at what one has achieved and be satisfied but there is a time and place to realize that there is still much to be done.
There is no secret or trick to living your life to the fullest for if there was I'm sure it would be ingrained across every element of our lives.
We must decide for ourselves what is enough and what is not.
