Silence, bathes over me as waves caress the shore.
Like the ocean, silence is deep,
I struggle towards the surface, but there is no sound.
Silence weighs against me like a weight,
It pushes me
the struggle ends and I am left suspended bellow it's depths,
I am at one with the depths.
Had I given up?
I simply forgot the way out.
I envision the tides,
hear their lull as they drift
the silence now subsides
You take my hand gently,
for you are the tides.
