I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree - Joyce Kilmer

Poetree

The howling wind grew and died.

But deep, deep in the trees,

But deep, deep in the trees, A poem there lied.

And the rain-

And the rain- Oh, how the sky cried!

The poem was fed, it grew, it grasped, and breathed at last.

The vines danced, excitedly boisterous to live!

And a stanza to the world the leaves did give!

And deep, deep in the trees,

And deep, deep in the trees, That's where the poems live.
