Just spilling out some of my feelings.

Drawstring Bag

I was born A drawstring bag Ready to be filled with things

Some filled me with rocks

Some with marbles

Some with trinkets and toys

Some gave me their best

Some their worst

Whether they meant to or not

And they pulled the strings

And closed me up

And said they had nothing else to give me

Now, I am a drawstring bag

Pulled tight and filled with things That everyone else gave to me

I shuffle through the contents And try to make heads or tails Of everything inside

Sometimes, I want to spill everything out

Show everyone what's inside

But I'm closed too tightly
