It causes pain.
It’s like your heart is filled with depression and rain.
There’s no escape, don’t even try
There’s clasps around your heart, and it does no good to pry.
I know that sometimes you just want to break down and cry
Because I’ve been there too, I’m not going to lie.
You think of them all day
They’re in your dreams at night
And not proclaiming your love right there on the spot takes almost all of your might.
So just accept it and move on
Because if you just keep prying
The clasps just get tighter
And you just end up crying.
