When we were small we saw the world in different eyes
We sought out things that interested us, no matter the cost 'cause we weren't deterred by much. Although we're only afraid now, because we've learned the truth, and such.
But at that height, we thought we might scale a mountain, while the sun kept bright. Never deterred by fright.
We played with our friends late into the night, never looking past the alluring moonlight. We spend time learning what's wrong, what's right.
We grew up to be what our parents were before us, losing all possibility of ever being ourselves: the ones we were really meant to be. Uniformity in the place of comradery.
I don't know about you but I know about me.
I don't know if you know it all, but the strength you imbue, shows that you grew... But if I'm the me I presume myself to be, I'd like to help you. I've learned this life years before you would
And that's why I should, provide you with the wisdom that our old man never could.
Forget everything, all of what you think the world means. Because if you want something, that keeps your heart pumping, you can make it happen if you work it through Just please try to, and only try for you
This world can't change without it, we can't change anything in the world at all, without you.
The you, you know you're supposed to be.
I don't know about you, but I know about me.
Let's try and be our own kind of "completely free".
