"Today is the same as yesterday. Yesterday was the same as the day before that, and so on for however long it is that you've had me trapped here. I'm stuck in an endless, repeating loop."
"No you aren't," replied the interrogator sitting in the chair it always sat in, faceless, emotionless.
"You said that yesterday," I scoffed.
"Today is different."
That piqued my interest. "Oh really? How? How is today different to yesterday?" I asked.
"Yesterday you were still alive," the interrogator stated.
