But you're not.

When I dance around the kitchen at night

When I dance around the kitchen at night I still expect you to be standing there

When I dance around the kitchen at night I still expect you to be standing there sipping on your tea;

But you're not.

I'm slowly moving on from you

And getting more and more used to

The loneliness of life.

When we broke up you said to me

'We might get back together some day!'

For this I admit time to time I still do pray.

Us together,

Us together, happy and gay;

But we're not.
