Have a look @ my feelings

I didn't miss you (and I swear you were someone else last time we met)

I sit soundly here alone,

With so much in the world left to be known

But you'd struck me with a sickness

That made me lose myself with a sudden quickness

Before I could omit that I was lost in a daze,

I'd quickly fallen ill, forgotten in a haze

So here I ask if it was really you that I missed

Or a rose tinted memory carried along on the mist

Reminding me of times I thought you cared

When really, inside I was scared

Worried that I'd never have you,

Convinced that one couldn't unite to become two

My mind had been cast out to sea

Blissfully unaware of how one-sided love can be

Your tatics of debaucery began to unfold

When I'd realized you'd become nothing but cold

You're more toxic then I remember

You're not the one I lusted for in November

I see through your subtle gaze

Made my way through your minds maze

I see you for what is real to me

A golden pillar of what not to be

You lack things that leave you dry and cold

I hope you'll learn what you're missing before you're old

You need empathy and self respect to keep yourself afloat

Treat life like your personal boat,

When the ocean lashes you like a whip,

Know that you'll always sink with your ship

So stay strong and on a good path

Till the day comes again when I hear you've escaped from your minds wrath,

Then I hope that we can share a real laugh.
