Here ends the poem and from then onwards, it's just me, blabbing. So feel free to skip that.

Oh, still here? Ok, cool I warned you

Note: I see this one as sort of an example illustration of what an identity crisis might appear as. It also looks different for everyone, so this is my interpretation.

As I have quite a big sweet tooth (not hard to guess from me user), the candy canes are a representation of the things I like and know about myself with certainty.

The fact that I 'count the days of eating candy canes' means that I do the things I like on daily basis as this is what I'm especially holding onto at times when in doubt.

As for the rest of it, the carving of my name, the etching of it, etc. shows that sometimes, even my knowledge and what I enjoy doing won't work in dissolving the doubts/issues. Hence why going to the very base of my existence with other, tougher measures.

The question in the end is simply what some to most of us are asking ourselves. Maybe once a year, just to make sure we haven't lost our heads in the rush or anything.

Or maybe every day even. Regardless, there's nothing bad in this. Nor does it feel weird. Age doesn't matter. Anyone can be equally found in a dark pit at some point and anything can trigger it.

We're constantly changing. We're also adaptive, so go with it and watch your step from time to time.

I'll shut up in a sec, don't worry. Before I do so, here's a piece of advice. Whenever you happen to experience an identity crisis you can't get out from, it may look sketchy, but try something new and entirely different to you.

It isn't always the case.

It isn't always the case. However, we may find ourselves in this situation because it might as well mean we need to change a lil bit of this or that.

Much like a machine. Needs its bolts switched every once in a while.

Thank you for your patience and have a good day! (Gawd, that tone makes me sound like someone working at customer support šŸ˜–)

Oh, wait, I actually kinda do. I'm a social media manager after all, community management and all that jazz.
