I'm sorry - Im pretty sure I deleted the post that someone commented on, so if you remember, tag them! But here you go, random person! You've replaced Mineta for your spot in class, and in all my X readers your last name is usually Himino, but since you're midoriya's sister, you're Y/N Midoriya. Have fun!
"Deku has a sister? She's probably as bad as him with controllong their quirk, if they even have one," Bakugou muttered. "And they sit two seats behind me? They'd better not be anything like Deku." (Sorry, Deku kinnies) You're pretty much the opposite of Deku, actually. You're honestly kind of lazy and aren't energetic. At all. You have no motivation.
But Deku has enough to make up for it - plus, he has one for all. Who are you to stand in the spotlight when your brother is destined to? “Hey,” you said, standing in the front of the class. You were tired, you didn’t know you had to wake up so early. There were probably bags under your eyes, you were so tired. 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭-𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴, you thought bitterly.
𝘉𝘶𝘵... 𝘛𝘰𝘬𝘺𝘰 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴... 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘵... “I’m Y/N Midoriya, Izuku’s sister. I look forward to working with you all.” Without waiting for permission or some sort of que, you immediately trudged to the near-back of the room and sat down. “Hey, Y/N,” Midoriya whispered, leaning back in his chair a little. “Are you actually? Going to try hard and… cooperate with the others?”
“I mean, I can when I want to.” You shrugged. “But sure, I’ll try if it makes you feel better." Izuku sighed, and smiled in a sad-nervous way. "Alright." You leaned back in your chair after a while, trying to see around a stupid big-headed kid with explosive, if you will, hair. He was also leaning back in his chair; he looked as though he was about to put is feet on his desk.
He was glaring at a blue-haired kid with glasses, as if it was his fault that he couldn't put his feet up. He pushed back in his chair and feel back again. You got in trouble for doing that a lot- heck, you didn't even realize that you were already doing that. Without looking back at you, Izuku said, "That's Kacchan. He's not the... nicest to be around, but he's good at everything he does."
"Mhm." "And that's Kirishima-kun," he added. "He's one of the only people Kacchan can tolerate, I'd even go as far as to say they're friends." "Mhm." "And that's Kaminari-Kun..." "Mhm." "Oh, and Todoroki..." "Mhm." "And Iida..." "Mhm."
You thought for a really long time about everyone in your class, especially three specific ones - Aizawa, how much coffee does he go through a day? Todoroki, who's either really good or really bad with relationship advice, and Kacchan, who just seemed like a terrible person. Was Kacchan actually his real name, anyway?
You yawned and stretched, still sleepy, and visibly panicked when you saw everyone was gone from the classroom. "Y/N!" Izuku called. "We're Leaving! Training!" "Whuh - huh? Now?" "Yeah," Izuku called enthusiastically. "C'mon!" You groaned and closed your eyes, not wanting to move despite the excitement of doing a new weird hero thing.
"Haaah?" muttered a new voice. "C'mon, extra. What the hell are you doin'? Deku won't stop bothering me to wait for 'im. Come ON so I can LEAVE." "Haaah?" you challenged, a spark in your eyes and a smirk on your face. You were never one to miss a fight. "Say somethin', Pomeranian? I don't think I heard you right!" "Haaaaaah?" Bakugou shot back, approaching you.
"What'd you say, peanut-head?Didja say somethin'? I think I missed it." Sparks came off his palms. "Why don'tcha say it again? C'mon, c'mon!" "Why should I, explosion boy? Haaaaaaaaaaah? C'mon, give me a reason! C'mon, c'mon!" "Y-Y/N, Kacchan, quit it. Everyone's watching." "Who cares, Deku? Nobody asked you! Shut it!"
"Hey, don't talk to my brother that way, you ogre." "Shut up, klutz!" "Idiot!" "Stupid!" "Pea-brain!" "Eyesore!" "Dunce face!" "Rat's nest!" "COCKROACH!" "POSER!" "LOSER!" "CRIPPLE!"
The people peeking in through the doorway tried to muffle their laughter but failed. Kacchan didn't seem to notice. Izuku stepped forward. "Alright, Deku. One more step and I blow your head off," Kacchan warned. Izuku backed away silently. "Alright, idiot," you said. "What's your name?" "Katsuki Bakugou! You'd better not forget!"
"Alright then, Katsuki-chan." Bakugou fumed at the nickname. How long do you think you can hold out? I know more insults than you think." Bakugou scoffed, sending off more threatening sparks. They made a sound like a firecracker that someone had sat on - something that would probably send a part of you flying off. "I can hold out twice as long as you can."
"Jerk-off!" You started with. "Jackass!" "Dipstick!" "Crackhead!" "Kaaa-cchaaan!" "Oooooooooo!" Cheered the crowd, using the same notes you would as if someone got sent to the principal's office during class. Bakugou inhaled sharply, taking a step toward you, then another, then another.
Now he was standing above you. His crackling hands came close to your smirking, self-satisfied face, and he put it on your head. You didn't move. Not because you were scared - but instead because it was fascinating, thinking about what he'd do to you. "Well?" you prompted. "Got anything better, Katsuki-chaaan?"
He didn't explode like you'd expected. Instead he chuckled, laughing maniacally. When he came down from his high, he bent down to make eye contact. "Alright, peanut-head. I like you. I'd like to see anyone else try to do what you just did. What's you're name, anyway?" "Midoriya Y/N," you announced, feeling your head grow hot from Bakugou's exploding hands.
"Pleasure to work with you."
Hope this was worth the wait! I mean, your quirk wasn't really necessary in the description, but whatever. I guess that'll be your quirk next time. Anyways, that's all for now, my Bendy Straws. Have a nice day!!!!
