"yumeko, i am literally begging you to get off of me, please." you said in a slight annoyed tone. r/n let out a sigh as yumeko simply squeezed her tighter, ignoring her words completely. she giggled and bit her lip.

"so you're her new favorite cat to play with?" mary said, as she tried to hide the laugh the laugh on her face. "how's it feel, r/n?" i scrunch my face in disgust and pull yumeko's hands away from my chest, softly chuckling. "it doesn't feel pleasant. please stop it."

"hey, r/n-chan, let's find someone to gamble with!" yumeko said excitedly, hugging onto r/n's arm. "yumeko, um, i already did a gamble today and barely made it out..." she looked at yumeko and mary. "maybe another time?"

"er, yeah, she's right. maybe if we just go to the dessert buffet...?" mary tried changing the subject to yumeko's second-favorite thing. "ooh! that's even better. i caught sitting next to r/n-chan~." i smiled softly. "great." i whispered.

"who's paying?" i asked. the room got silent and mary raised he hand. "i will i guess." yumeko grasped my am tighter. i move my arm from hers. "okay, we should go now, yeah?" mary nodded and began to walk to the dessert buffet as i stayed behind with yumeko.

"hey, r/n. can we talk for a bit. it's really important and i need to say it now." she said, holding her hands together in a pleading way. i nodded and crossed my arms. "fine. you have three minutes and i'm leaving." she nodded excitedly and tucked a few strand of hair behind her ear.

"so, i've had a crush on you for a really long time now and i thought this time would be the best time to tell you, considering the fact that i was literally squeezing you." i stared blankly at her then laughed. she pouted and crossed her arms. "hey, what's funny?"

"i like you too, yumeko. even though you're weird and crazy, i still like you." i hugged he softly and smiled. as expected, she smiled widely and hugged my back twice as tight. "eeee! im so happy! i love you so much already!" she let me go and kissed my cheek.

i froze and blushed a little, making her giggle a bit. i held her hand and pecked her lips gently. "i love you too, yumeko"
