quilt to turn away from it.\nShadows of the neighborhood\nAll out with daggers of rebel\nShouting in defiance spilling blood everywhere\nThe moon is stoic, the stars afraid\nSilent as bystanders witnessing a fight\nI screech but my voice is hushed.\nNear dawn they huddle together\nCharting out the plan for the next night\nThey disperse then as the embers of light emerge\nWhile I lie there after taking forty winks.\nMoments later the sky is clear\nthough secrets staying out of sight.\nTill comes another night.\nThis city which never
