He was drawn even closer when suddenly, the ground where his mother lies appeared to glow a golden hue. The shock he had on his face was undeniable, he just could not understand what on earth was happening. \n\nHe looked away as the golden light shined brighter. \n\nHe was about to flip over when a woman whispered his name. Frightened as he was, he still tried to look for the source of the airy whisper. \n\nThe light dimmed down and faded. He wondered for a while but he remembered that he was all alone at that mmoment.\n\nHe made a full stroll around the area before visiting his mother and made sure that nobody else was there as he likes being alone.\n\n\"Davin...\" whispered the same airy voice again.\n\n\"Who are you? Show yourself! How did you know my name?\" asked Davin with a raised tone.\n\n\"Never forget to always check above you.\" the mysterious voice replied.\n\nHe looked up, his eyes widened. He wanted to fear what he saw but the golden aura it bears commands not.\n\n\"Wh-who are you? Better question. What on the world are you!?\" asked Davin with a shakey voice.\n\nThe humanoid-looking being was glowing so bright that rays of light that radiated from her body cloaked her own face.\n\nDavin gazed upon her otherworldly appearance. But just right when his eyes have adjusted to her brightness, she unexpectedly turned around as she felt something evil was present.\n\nShe quickly turned to Davin and said\n\"Run! Go run as fast as you can!\"\n\nDavin was so startled that he could not even lift his feet. He was so confused. At first, she wanted his attention but now, she wanted him to hurry out of the place.\n\nFrom the corner of his eye, he glimpsed upon another shadowy being. This time, it looked far less friendlier than the first one he saw.\n\n\"Run my child! I will hold him up for you!\" convincingly said the entity.\n\nThe sky then suddenly darkened and rain poured down so heavily that every drop felt like grains were falling from the sky. Then came the howling of ear-wrecking thunder and the countless striking of lightning that striped the expanse of the pitch black sky.\n\nDavin did not seem to want to go anywhere. His feet were as if nailed to the puddled cemetery ground.\n\nDavin listened carefully as they conversed in a language he has never heard before. Both beings started fighting after the dark creature displayed a provocative gesture.\n\nDavin could not believe his eyes when he saw them fighting not with weapons but with powerful blasts of contrasting energies one after the other.\n\nThe ground shook, trees were uprooted and countless gravestones were rendered useless. Davin dodged every single blast and object that accelerated to his direction.\n\nThe dark entity managed to overpower the bright one. With one strong shadowy punch, the light entity came crashing through several gravestones.\n\nThe dark creature mockingly tip toed his way to Davin. Their pupils aligned and locked. \n\nThe shadowy being had feet that feared the ground, his eyes were a bloody shade of red. He exposed his bear-like claws hoping he could instill fear into Davin. He then smiled with his crooked teeth.\n\nJust before the dark creature could come any closer, he got struck by concentrated strikes of vibrant lightning.\n\nIt was the bright entity. She channeled her power from the sky. She was glowing even brighter and was glowing even more for every second that passed. She was glowing so bright that blasts of wild rays of lightning came flashing in all directions as she lost control of her own powers. \n\nOne powerful blast from her vaporized the dark creature but one of her wild lightning strikes hit Davin and threw him across the cemetery. He then landed on another gravestone. The sound of the stones' crumbling matched the sound of his bones' cracking.\n\nWhen Davin opened his eyes, he clearly saw the bright entity floating gracefully above him. \n\nAn angel is what he could think of when looking at her. Her clothes, dancing to the rhythm of the wind, were white and spotless. Her skin was like a beacon in the dark. Her wings were something different, they were pulsating with flashes of clean lightning.\n\nDavin failed to catch even just a glimpse of her face as the world blacked out before his eyes and sounds of endless buzzing attacked his headphone-damaged eardrums.\n\nThe very moment he passed out was also the moment he woke up from a deep and weird nightmare. His alarm clock was buzzing so violently as it was already 8 o'clock.\n\nFriday the 27th. Davin rose from his single bed. He stretched his arms and bent his back. He then furiously slammed his digital alarm clock across his room before he came to his senses and realized that it was all just a dream.\n\n\"What on Earth just happened?\" Davin asked himself.\n\nIt was strange. Weird to say but he felt all the excruciating sensations on the nightmare he had. Davin came back to his senses once again when he realized that he had to go to school.\n\nSuddenly, his door knob turns and a woman storms in with a huge smile on her face. She probably woke up hearing the soft chirping of the canaries in the morning.\n\n\"Good Morning sweetie. Breakfast is ready.\" Jessie cheerfully said.\n\nJessie Gray is in her 30's. She is the type of woman who doesn't seem to age at all. Her eyes are a lovely golden brown, her hair is a deep wine red and she bears a body that can make any man drool. She is an about-to-be old maid who took custody of her nephew when her half-sister got murdered 7 years ago.\n\nShe looks and acts like the perfect woman but it is hilarious to think that she has never entered any sort of romantic relationship ever. She has set a very high standard that the perfect men for her are either long dead or haven't been born yet.\n\n\"What happened here?\" asked  Jessie while staring at his shattered alarm clock.\n\n\"Uhmm... Nothing. I might have accidentally pushed it too hard when I woke up.\" Davin replied with an awkward smile.\n\n\"Okay, okay. Enough chit-chat. You have school today.\" Jessie reminded.\n\nDavin got ready, dressed up and finally headed to the table to eat.\n\n\"Were you drinking with your friends yesterday?\" straightforwardly asked Jessie.\n\n\"I already stopped hanging out with them. They were no good for me. Why did you ask?\" asked the confused Davin.\n\n\"Hun, I checked on you yesterday at around 5 PM but you were not in your room. I contacted everyone but nobody knew where you had gone. I checked your room again at 6 PM and you were already fast asleep. I tried to wake you up for dinner but all the attempts I made failed.\"\n\n\"Yeah, that. I don't seem to remember anything about yesterday. I just had this strange dream that felt so real.\" said Davin.\n\n\"Really? Tell me more.\" Aunt Jessie wasn't convinced.\n\nRight before Davin could say another word, the school bus honked outside. He gulped the remaining cereal from his bowl, wiped his mouth and grabbed his backpack.\n\n\"I have to go Auntie.\" said Davin before  kissing  Jessie's cheek.\n\n\"Okay. See you later. Have fun. Just don't get in through your window when you come home late again will ya?\" Jessie instructed.\n\nDavin winked at his aunt and ran for the school bus. When he entered, everyone's eyes locked on him. He headed for his favorite spot at the rear end of the bus and sat there like nothing weird is happening. Besides, he is already used to being stared at.\n\nThe bus picked up some more students including Lica Vuitton. She is Davin's best friend. Gracefully, she walked past all the unimportant personas and sat next to Davin. Davin couldn't help his eyes but gaze upon her majestic looks.\n\nLica is so attractive. She is so attractive that most of the time, she is the subject of every brat's gossip in school. Well, she kind of is the reason people stare at Davin like he devoured somebody.\n\nLica and Davin have been the bestest of friends since they were kids. They were neighbours when Davin's mother was still living. Lica only hangs out with Davin and that pretty much made boys with puberty-induced testosterone-level hikes envious.\n\nImagine being ignored by a woman whose eyes mirror the night sky, whose hair is a strange pure white and whose teenage body defies the laws of human anatomy. Lica is the hottest girl in school and nobody wanted Davin for her.\n\nDavin actually possesses some killer looks too but it seems like he doesn't really embrace it.  He bears an aquiline nose, onyx brown eyes, and a smile to die for. He has the typical teenage height and built. He isn't conscious of how he looks, what he wears and what others think of him. He is just this cute guy who minds his own business.\n\nThough they aren't actually together, it is very obvious that they feel the same for each other but they both deny that fact all the time. \n\n\"Hey.... Hey. Hey!\" exclaimed Lica in ascending pitch.\n\nDavin finally snapped out of his daydream and said \"Hey. What? I mean what's up?\"\n\n\"You okay?\" asked Lica. She suspected that something was wrong.\n\n\"To be honest, nope.\" Davin firmly replied \"I had this strange dream last night and it felt so real.\" he added.\n\n\"Okay... Tell me more.\" said the curious Lica.\n\nBefore Davin could say another word, the bus enters the gates of Adamant High and all the students rushed out to attend their respective classes.\n\n\"Meet me. Library. 3PM sharp.\" said Davin before rushing out of the bus because he was running late for a quiz.\n\nLica was the last to leave the bus. She blankly stared at Davin for a few seconds then turned away and smiled. She walked to the opposite direction to attend her first period class.\n\nDavin has probably lost his mind. He pushed multiple students aside and carelessly kicked every single wet floor sign. You could tell that he passed through the halls as his shoe prints were all over the place. The mess he made was enough to make the janitors want to quit their job.\n\nDavin ran through the halls like crazy. He was sprinting so fast that he hadn't noticed the Guidance Counselor slowly walking to get to the other side of the hall.\n\nIt was too late when Davin noticed him. He collided with the old man, making him fall on his butt cheeks. His leg then swept Davin off his feet. His pot of a belly produced a squishy sound when it cushioned Davin's accelerating head. \n\nDavin immediately got up and tried to help Mr. Lao up too. Howard 'Howie' Lao is twice his weight and built but he didn't have any trouble lifting him up.\n\nMr. Lao is a very jolly asian man. His head is so smooth that it reflects all the light that bumps into it. Some students nicknamed him the Michellin Man as both of them have very similar figures. He has a very calm personality and he always tries to keep away from anger as much as possible.\n\n\"You are a very strong young man. How were you able to do that? How could you possibly help me up with a nimble body like yours?\" asked the shocked old man.\n\n\"Uhmm... Adrenaline I guess?\" Davin replied.\n\n\"Adrenaline ayy? What's your name kid?\" asked Mr. Lao.\n\n\"Davin.
