If you are inside once the sensor is activated, you will not open your door; this means that you are safe from the hunt and will not be either a prey or a hunter. If you open any of your doors, the sensor will detects the motion, and it will send a signal to the government which will automatically enter you as an active participant of the hunt. Your home location will appear on the hunt map.  \n\n    I was not planning on being either a prey or a hunter, so I  make sure that I am home early before the festivities start. It is just me and Rover in the house.   Rover is the new generation of smart iRobot65 created by apple.  I bought him to keep me company, protect me, and help around the house since my son was arrested for tax evasion.  \n\n     I take a shower, make some popcorn, and turn on the satellite news to watch the hunt from live television. At exactly 1600 the hunt started.  I was going in and out of naps.  For some reason i fell like something was about to happen but I can’t pin point the issue.  My cell phone vibration made me jump out of my nap; it is a unknown number.   Because I did not want it to be someone that I know who is in distress, I pick up right away:\n\n- mom it’s me.  The hunters broke  in the prison.   I was lucky that I was able to escape.  I am in the corner of Fulton street and Marketview.  I am using the blue emergency phone but I have to move since it is probably already located by the government.  \n\n- Where are you going to be? Im coming to pick you up.  \n\n- Mom, don’t risk it. \n\n- No son this is our chance to get you out of prison especially the government will not be tracking who died or who is alive after the hunter raided the prison. \n\n- No mom\n\n- Son...\n\n- I gotta take cover.  Ill be inside of the sewer in that corner.   Once you are here, since you wont be able to go back home we can stay in the sewer until everything is clear. \n\nOnce he said these words, the communication cut off. \n- Rover\n-  Yes ma’am\n- We have to go save my son\n- No ma’am\n\nI turn around and look at rover like he is having a malfunction.  \n\n- Rover, my son is in trouble.... Did you hear me?\n- \n- Yes ma’am but my job is also to protect you against your will.  The government sensor will  activate if you go through the doors. \n\n- Yeah dummy, I know that, I was planning on using a window.   \n\n- Ma’am no matter how you exit this house, once you are out, you will no longer be safe.  \n\n- ROVER!!  TAKE THE GUNS AND GET READY TO GO RETRIEVE MY SON.  WE WILL FOLLOW THE TRIAL TO GET TO TOWN AS THIS WILL BE A SAFER ROUTE. \n\n- Ma’am, I can’t do that.  As we are speaking I retrieved your son’s file and he has a criminal record.  Which make him bad for society; therefore, if he gets hunted, it will be for the good of society.  \n\nI couldn’t believe my ears.   A Robot is telling me what is good for society. I must have missed something in the fine prints when I bought this moron. \n\n- Who are you to tell me what is good for society? You are an artificial intelligence that I bought. \n\n- Ma’am, I am sorry if you feel that way but I will have to protect you against your will\n\n- Rover, its my son, my only son. You have no idea of what it is to be a mother, have your only son taking away from you by the government.  \n\n- No ma’am i don’t know what is it to be a mother as this software was not installed in my hard drive.  Also, you son was not taking away, he made choices, and the rules are that choices have consequences.  \n\n- I’m done talking.  You can stay here but I’m going to find my son. \n\nAs I open the closet to grab a bag, out of the blue some sort of electrical zip tie was around me. I wriggle, jiggle, do the worm, but nothing was getting me out that trap. It’s rover, he entered the government mode.  \n\nAll robots are design to do what is  right and support good function of society. However, when ever a robots feels like the government rules are at risk, it will turn against its owner to protect the rules.  In my case, my son was a felon, so, for rover, his safety was not a priority.  On the other end I am about to go save my son which not only is viewed by rover as illegal for saving a felon but my safety is at risk.  \n\nRover is just a robot and I don’t expect him to understand the pain of a mother. As i started screaming and hopping toward the door , I suddenly feel a sharp tingling pain in my back.  Its like something sting me; I feel all my muscles contracting and its like no signal was being sent to  my brain to encourage movement.  I was back on the floor.  As i turn around to see what just happen, rover was standing over me.  Before I can blink he stuck a needle in my arm to injects some sort of viscous liquid\n\n- This is for your own good Ma’am\n\nAs I slumber away in unconsciousness and threaten rover with revenge,  I can only picture my son waiting on a mother who will never arrive because a stupid robot did not understand human emotion and what we will do to protect the ones that we love. I feel like a bug in a lamp; no exit. Suddenly, i hear a loud noise, a noise that has spaces in it.  I can go investigate it as I am by myself but the game is too entertaining. The best i can do is to remove my headphones.  Nothing... everything sounds quiet.  Maybe it was the neighbors house. My neighbor has an habit to loose his keys when he is drunk and have to get creative to get inside of his house.   After 5 minutes I put the headphones back on so i can Zone out.  As I start to get back in the groove, I felt a cold circle in the back of my head.   Before I can react, Everything when dead.   I was not sure what just happen but I see a woman lifeless, on the floor with some headphones one.  She is laying in a pool of red liquid similar to ketchup. Oh.... its not, its blood, there was marshmallows in it, tiny one.  Who killed her? As i am trying to call 911 i realize that I cant grab the  phone.  I try the same motion 15 times but I feel like i am  floating in a third dimension, I am not myself.  I am looking at the woman helpless on the floor and I am helpless where I am as well.  I am not feeling pain nor distress; i feel contempt.  \nI starts floating away, I had to go before the police came by.   I leave the room without knowing where should I go next....\nThe night is young let me see where it takes me especially I just see whAt seemed like an execution style murder.
