"first_page_text": "On the gloomy Evening two cars rode down narrow two way street. The first car was full of people. A mom and dad were in the front watching the rode while teenage daughter and little girl sang with the music very softly. A younger boy sat in car seat looking out window slightly annoyed. In the Second vehicle it was old truck. A father was anxiously driving watching the road. The son was tapping to music very tired. The mom in the front car turned the music up smiling. Then the truck pulled around the car starting to pass. Then over the hill another car came out of nowhere. The truck tried to swerve in front of the car and the back of the truck hit the car. The car swerved sideways flipping five times. The truck swerved across the road going into a tree. While the other car just kept on driving. The man in truck groaned looked at his unconscious son picked him up carrying him out the truck and in the grass. Then he started to walk to the upside down car opening the driver's door pulling out the dad. The dad whispered \"Run now.\" The two girls slide out the other side very weakly. The man dropped the dad walking a few steps saying \"sorry.\" The car explodes consuming both men in seconds. The little girl screamed looking at fire as her older sister seems to wrap her in hug weakly. After long grueling minutes two ambulances showed up with fire truck. As the fireman started to put out the fire the sky started to rain. The EMT women ran over to the girls. One of the women asked \"Can you tell me you name girls and are you hurt?\"\n\nLexi, the little girl, slurred \"I'm Lexi and that is my sister Mia. Are was going to die?\"\n\nThe women nodded no saying \"No you both are going to be okay were going to take care of you.\" \n\nThey loaded Mia on stretcher and carried Lexi in the back of the Ambulance. One of the fireman looked around yelled out \"We got another down. Come quick.\" He ran to boy with another EMT man. The boy coughed a little weakly opening his eyes. The man asked \"Can you tell me your name Buddie?\"\n\nThe boy looked at him slowly answering \"My name is Niklaus Woods. Where is my dad? His name is Owen. Where - Where is my dad?\"\n\nThe EMT sighed said \"I'm sorry Niklaus we haven't found anyone else.\"\n\nNiklaus teared up as they loaded him into the other ambulance. Lexi listened to them talking she held her sister hand as her tears dried. \n\nAfter Two days\n\nNiklaus waited in the waiting room in normal clothes. He had a red cast on his hand and a few cuts on his face. An man walked over said \"You alright kid?\"\n\nNiklaus ran hugged the man saying \"Are we going to be okay Maximus?\"\n\nMaximus nodes yes saying \"Lets go kid.\"\n\nNiklaus grabbed Maximus wrist said \"Yes sir.\"\n\nMaximus took Niklaus home to Farm in Texas. Then Niklaus was imputed into school nearby. Lexi had stayed in the hospital three more days then child protective service took her away. She was moved in home where she went to an all girls high school. For years they both had troubles with school, friends and family. Maximus taught Niklaus skills of being a solider. Lexi left her home at age 18 and started to fend for herself. She stayed on the streets of New York for a while. After School Niklaus ran to the Army getting bachelors in law then joined a group to stay in undercover studies. Lexi was picked up by carrier company that shipped many things. Lexi spent her four years earning her way and owned an business of national trading across the seas. She was the youngest trader at age 25 years old, but she was ruthless. When she heard of a master gun smith called Rider she doubled her money tracking him for months to an apartment with his wife and daughter. Ryder was on his way home the day Lexi stopped by. Lexi had small talk with his wife and daughter. Luna his wife was young and bold while his daughter was even more pretty with the name Ruth. Ryder walked in slowly asking \"Luna who is this?\"\n\nLuna stood up kissed him on the cheek said \"this is Lexi.\"\n\nLexi stood up saying \"Hi, Ryder, My name is Lexi. I'm the owner of Spears Trading industries. I believe you would be strong aspect to my work.\" she pulled her pistol out slowly.\n\nRyder straighten up saying \"I've heard of you. Sorry though I'm not in that kind of business anymore.\"\n\nLexi held the gun to Ruth stating \"I would re-think that.\"\n\nRyder stuck hand out said \"Wait my plans are upstairs in the master bed room closet, but I'm not building them.\"\n\nLexi nudge her gun to the stairs. Ryder headed up the stairs slowly. Lexi led girls up made them sit on the floor as she stood in between them and Ryder. Ruth shivered said \"Daddy I'm scared.\"\n\nRyder looked at Ruth saying \"It's gonna be okay Monkey. I promise.\" He turned the knob of the closet then pulling out showing room full plans and clothes. He walked in put the plans in a brief case walked out held them out the Lexi. Lexi nodes put the brief case in her back pack sliding it on she looked at swords on his wall said \"nice swords on your wall. Very custom.\" She walked over to closet looking at them items noticed Niklaus photos and a letter asked \"Who is that man?\"\n\nRyder looked at her \"Niklaus Byrne.\"\n\nLexi turned looked at him asking \"How do you know Niklaus? Where did he get that letter?\" she pointed the gun at his throat.\n\nRyder gulped confused explaining \"He connected me to look into his father death.\"\n\nLexi tilted her head saying \"Owen woods.\"\n\nRyder explained \"Yes. I know you were the little girl with the family. It wasn't an accident your dad and Owen were x-spys. There last mission Fire Well lead to your dad being a trader.\"\n\nLexi zoned a little remembering the day. Luna looked at Ryder saying \"Ryder you said you were done with these things.\"\n\nRyder turned looked at her said \"I'm sorry, but lets discus this later promises.\"\n\nLexi mumbled \"You shouldn't promise things you can't keep\" she turned shot bullet. Luna and Ruth fell over still holding each other. Ryder ran over picking them up in his arms crying \"No!... No baby.. Don't leave me.... I love you.\"\n\nLexi put gun away then packed away the items on Niklaus then grabbed swords off the wall said \"Come with me or I'll shot that boy in the other room.\"\n\nRyder slowly stood up saying \"at least let me say bye.\"\n\nLexi grabbed bed sheet laid it over the girls said \"You have one minute.\"\n\nRyder walked to the boys room rubbing his head he wrote note set it under his pillow and kissed his forehead saying \"I will find you again.\"\n\nThey slowly walked out. After they left Lexi business thrived for the next three years. She traced every lead to her father, but found just more clues. Ryder became her right hand man doing all her dirty work. While they planned Niklaus finally got out the army. He rode couple flights home to Maximus. Today was also his 25th birthday. He slowly got out the cab carrying bag. Maximus stopped working in the back of loading wood on truck slowly walked around. He smiled and leaned against the fence \"Well, happy birthday kid.\" \n\nNiklaus chuckled slowly walked over saying \"hey Maximus... I'm sorry i-\"\n\nMaximus cut him off saying \"Come on kid.\"\n\nNiklaus nodes followed him to the back were someone took his stuff inside asking \"How are you?\"\n\nMaximus smiled saying \"Wood business keeps us hidden. We got a few low key operations going on.\"\n\nNiklaus nodes watching them work \"What kind? Anything I can do?\"\n\nMaximus rolled his eyes saying \"Rest kid. We got two wanted runners, spy from Russia, and one huge gun company busting coming. Trafficking people and guns.\"\n\nNiklaus shrugged saying \"let me help. That gonna be huge deal.\"\n\nMaximus stopped saying \"Everyone this Niklaus. He's gonna be helping me keep you all on track. Follow his orders like mine.\"\n\nNiklaus looked around at everyone who stopped working saying \"I'm probably nicer than him.\"\n\nThey all seem to laugh. Garth, a worker , walked up \"Sir the ship has docked. We should go now.\"\n\n\"Armando. Cooper get dressed we leave in five \"he announced going inside.\n\nNiklaus followed saying \"Maximus let me come.\"\n\nMaximus put vest on the put his button up over it answering \"no\"\n\nNiklaus sighed saying \"I've been overseas for three years let me go you know I'm better than all your crew.\"\n\nMaximus grabbed his gun said \"Watch your mouth boy. You better not mess this up.\" \n\nNiklaus nodes saying \"I won't sir.\"\n\nThey went got in the back of the delivery truck. Niklaus looked at them asked \"What are we looking for?'\n\nGarth answered \"Were trying to find the boss to set up a deal. You just need to be quiet.\"\n\nArmando saying \"You will join me kid. We're going to check the dock to see who checked that boat in.\"\n\nNiklaus nodes agreeing. The parked by the carrier boat. Niklaus followed Armando to the dock building. Maximus led Garth on the boat. Lexi walked over slowly greeting him \"Hello sir, what can I help you with?\"\n\nMaximus nodes saying \"I'm looking to make a trade with a very smart lady.\".\n\nRyder slowly walked by the side of the boat watching the docks. Lexi crossed her arms saying \"and who is asking?\". \n\nMaximus smirked saying \"My name is Maximus Hughes you must be the boss.\"\n\nLexi nodes saying \"I wouldn't be concerned in that.\"\n\nMaximus saying \"Well then who might you be?'\n\nLexi chuckled answering \"The name is Lexi. I'm the Captain of this ship.\"\n\nNiklaus walked back over to truck saying \"Cooper we should board support back up.\"\n\nCooper sat with door open saying \"Nope we follow order stay put.\"\n\nMaximus looked around then to Lexi saying \"Well can we find less crowded place I believe we have business.\"\n\nRyder looked at Lexi said \"I'll be back Lexi. My feet need stretching.\" He walked off the boat on docks towards Niklaus.\n\nNiklaus turned looked at Ryder pushing cooper door closed saying \"Ryder.\"\n\nRyder pulled his swords out pushed Niklaus on the side of the truck. \"You shouldn't of come. Call Maximus back now.\"\n\nNiklaus eyes widen he asked \"Why? Ryder What Happened?\" he knocked swords up kneed him in the gut. \n\nRyder stumbled swung sword at him. Niklaus bent back watching sword go over him then leaned back up kicked Ryder hand. Ryder dropped the right sword then swung the left sword at Niklaus feet catching his pants making him trip. Niklaus landed hard on his back. Cooper kicked door open aimed his gun up at Ryder. Ryder swung the blade up without looking cutting Cooper hand off then grabbed right sword off the ground getting on top of Niklaus putting the baldes to his throat saying \"Fire Well should of kept you away.\"\n\nCooper yelled in pain. Armando ran out dock building going to passenger door pulling Cooper over shutting the door starting the truck. Garth ran down to the docks getting on the truck. Maximus aim his gun at Lexi. Lexi pulled gun out then few crew men did she yelled \"Ryder!'. She walked over to edge looking at them saying \"Oh looky looky you got a toy.\"\n\nMaximus let his gun down put his hands up. Niklaus grabbed the swords with his hands saying \"Well it got moved again.\"he kicked Ryder over himself cutting his hands. Ryder stabbed the sword into wood stopping him from falling in the water. Lexi men ran down in front of Niklaus. Ryder got up put swords away saying \"Get up Niklaus \" \n\nNiklaus slowly got up saying \"Trader.\"\n\nThey followed orders down to lower boat decks in boxing area. Lexi walked down with them saying \" Niklaus woods the son of Owen woods.\" \nRyder put Maximus in Merle cuffs that stuck to the needle wall. Then he cuffed Niklaus legs to post. Niklaus asked \" what did you do to Ryder ?\" \nRyder looked at him said \" no you. I lost my family Niklaus. My little six year old daughter Niklaus. My three month old boy, because I helped you. So I hope you rot with your father Niklaus. Rott!\" He grabbed him by the throat mad. \nLexi pulled him away said \" don't we need him alive.\" \nNiklaus coughed and looked down. Ava looked back hearing alarm as they ran. A couples guards came out from boats heading towards them. They slide to stop backing up. Lucas and Marcus came up with stun guns. Ryder and Lexi ran up with Rosy. Niklaus looked up to helicopter coming with ladder down.\n\n\n\nAva ran kicked off guard grabbing ladder climbing up. The guards started shooting stuns. Niklaus put his hands together crouched. Sebastian stepped off his hands jumping to ladder climbing. Ava climbed faster. Niklaus ran faster after ladder jumped grabbing last three rung. Lucas jumped grabbing second one. Ryder had jumped grabbing first rung and Niklaus leg . Niklaus grabbed Lucas arm before he fell then went to grab Ryder caught his jacket sleeve. Ryder gasped looked at ground getting further his sleeve started ripping he swung arm up trying grab Niklaus and fell at last rip. He swung his arms landing hard on his left ankle and sliding into left side in the snow. He yelled a little leaning over. Rosy ran to Ryder quickly looking at his leg she throw his shoe off and sliding sock off pushing foot back into place . Ryder leaned back hitting snow with his fist. \nNiklaus and Lucas climbed up to Helicopter sliding in. Sebastian and Ava breathes heavily looking at them. Garth patted Niklaus chest gave thumbs up. As they flow away. The crew is burning the evidence and getting these people on boat taking the home. They will look like hero's. It's time for you to choose.\" \nRosy helped Ryder stand. Sebastian helped Ava out the helicopter slowly. Niklaus slowly hopped out the airplane he rubbed his arms at the cold he walked few feet in the snow looking around at the sky. Niklaus pulled gun up to shoot her and she grabbed his hand pushing pistol up to the sky. He pulled one hand away grabbed here leg pulling up tripping her. Lexi fell into snow grunted. Niklaus pulled pistol down went to shoot her. Lexi moved and it shot the snow then she kicked the pistol out of Niklaus hand. Niklaus gasped and ran to go get it. Lexi grabbed his leg tripping him. Niklaus slide in snow looked forward reached out for the pistol. Lexi rolled around got up grabbed his leg pulling him to her. Niklaus rolled around kicked her in the chest. Lexi fell back groaned. Niklaus scrambled up looked at pistol then Garth. Garth looked at Pistol then him. Lexi got up tackled Niklaus into the snow said \"Stop trying to get out of this.\"\n\nNiklaus grunted rolled around went to hit her said \"Lexi you leave me no choice.\"\n\n\n\nLexi hit him in gut then in the face sitting on top of him. Niklaus covered his face. Lexi hit him in gut couple more times. Niklaus coughed he pushed hips up hard. Lexi fell forward. Niklaus pushed her off him then scrambled up jumping to pistol sliding around shooting Garth in the back of the shoulder. Garth yelled in pain fell over. Maximus in snow looked towards yelling started moving faster. Lexi ran towards Niklaus kicked him in the gut. Niklaus rolled over coughed in pain. Lexi got on his back put her arm around his throat choking him. Niklaus grabbed her arm groaned grabbing pistol pointing back by his head firing. The bullet slide across Lexi she yelled fell off him scouting back. Niklaus rolled over scouted back against the tree aiming towards her. Garth kicked gun out his hand then pulled knife out. Niklaus gasped looked at him. Garth smirked said \"i've waited a while to do this.\" he went to stab him in the chest.\n\nNiklaus moved watched blade cut the tree. Garth swung blade back cutting Niklaus thigh. Niklaus yelled hit Garth in the face. Lexi scouted over grabbing the pistol. Maximus moved faster yelled \"Niklaus!\"\n\nLexi looked towards tree's got up moving back towards Ryder. Ryder got up slowly. Niklaus looked towards Lexi got up yelled \"Stop!\"\n\nGarth grabbed him slamming him against tree. Lexi turned to run and Ryder grabbed pistol and it went off loudly. Then it went off again. Lexi stumbled away from them holding her side looked at Ryder. Ryder stumbled back weakly fell back into snow. He groaned leaning head back as he moved hand to his side. Lexi screamed crying she fell to her knees moving to him she grabbed his arm slowly rubbing him. . Niklaus yelled \"Ryder!!\" \n\nGarth hit Niklaus in gut then across face hard looked at them. Another guard followed with Sebastian. The guards pulled Garth up bringing him to house. A few other the guards were doctors they started patching up Garth and Niklaus. Niklaus looked at Garth then Maximus said \"You should of seen her...She was broken....She loves him.\"\n\nMaximus looked at him said \"Lexi is still human Niklaus. No matter what she done, she feels terrible thinking she will never recover. She thinks she might of killed the one good thing in her life...It could create a monster or lead her on straight path.\"\n\nThe doctor finished looked at Niklaus patted his arm said \"All better take it easy man.\"\n\nNiklaus sat up slowly with grunt nodes slowly. Maximus stood up looked at Garth sedated. Niklaus looked at Garth said \"What about him?\"\n\nMaximus crossed his arms slowly said \"He is going to jail for a very long time. Maybe even help us find the others.\"\n\nNiklaus nodes stood up slowly limping said \"Lets go home Maximus.\"\n\nMaximus put Niklaus arm around his shoulder said \"Yes sir.\"\n\nThey took helicopter to a undercover base ground filed their reports then took car to small town house that was Maximus and Niklaus old house way back then. The next few weeks they kept updates on everything. Niklaus had rent apartment nearby and took Ryker , Ryder son in as his on. Then one day Rosy showed up at Maximus door. Maximus smiled at her said \"Hi.\"\n\nRosy slide her hood off and hugged Maximus. Maximus hugged her then swung door shut kissing her. Rosy kissed him. Maximus leaned back asked \"How is your sister?\"\n\nRosy smiled said \"She great. thank you.\" she pushed him back to wall kissed him.\n\nMaximus kissed her said \"We should tell Niklaus your back.\"\n\nRosy sighed said \"Later.\"\n\nMaximus picked her up as she put her legs around his waist he said \"okay.\"\n\nBy the next year Rosy had a child they named Maxine. Niklaus adjusted less then them trying to take care of Ryker and dating an old friend from service time. \n\n3 years later \n\nNiklaus ,Sebastian and Maximus were standing in the park area watching Rosy play with Maxine, Sofia and Ryker. Niklaus looked around he noticed guy sitting in car watching the kids he slowly started to walk over. Maximus and Sebastian followed pulling their pistols out. Ryder stepped out car walking to front of the truck looked at Niklaus. His hair was little longer nad he had small beard going on. Niklaus looked at him said \"Whoa boys guns away.\" he rubbed his neck scar recognizing Ryder. \n\nThey put their pistol away looking at him. Ryder nodes slowly said \"Hello boys.\"\nNiklaus eyes widen he said \" Ryder.\" He put his hand on his shoulder .\nRyder chuckled a little he patted Niklaus arm said \" yeah I am alive.\"\nNiklaus hugged him then backed up said \" where did you go ? How are you alive ? Is she alive ?\"\nMaximus looked at them then Ryder asked \" want to meet your son ?\"\nRyder looked at Maximus said \" that would be great Maximus.\" \nNiklaus nodes said \" yeah man . Ryker !\"\nRyker looked over running over with Sofia. Rosy walked over held Maxine close she grabbed Maximus arm said \" Ryder .\"\nRyder looked at Ryker in awe. Ryker looked at Rosy then Ryder said \" Ryder...as in... dad.\"\nNiklaus nodded yes. Ryder nodes yes wiped away tear chuckled said \" yeah kiddo, I'm your dad. I'm sorry I've missed so much and gosh you're so tall.\"\nRyker smiles slight said \" you got beard.\" \nThey all laughed slightly. Ryker nodes asked \" why are you here now ?\"\nRyder nodes rubbed his face said \" uhh I wanted to meet you... Lexi still alive and she uh having kid. When I saw her face all I could see was you. So I left...\" \nNiklaus eyes widen he said \" Ryder this is your second chance with family you got to take it.\"\nRyder looked at him said \" Niklaus how can I trust that I'm not gonna get my family killed again or we get arrested.\"\nRyker eyes widen he said \" I got sister. A real sister.\"\nRyder looked at Ryker said \" yeah she was born last week... her name is Lacy. I'm so sorry Ryker that I didn't come back. I just thought you would be in danger with me.\" \nRyker nodes said \" I forgive you.\" \nMaximus patted Ryker shoulder said \" Ryder you need to go home .\" \nSebastian grabbed Sofia hand said \" so she has changed .\"\nRyder looked at them said \" yes she changed. The past three years has done so much for her. She thought I was gonna die and it worked. Guys you really trust this.\" \nNiklaus nodes yes said \" I think you should take Ryker with you. He is your kid after all .\"\nRyker nodes yes. Ryder hugged Ryker then patted Niklaus should said \" thank you all.\"\nThey packed Ryker a weekend bag they left. Niklaus stood at window at apartment looking out with arm crossed he blinked remember some of the pain . The nights in cell. The days he had electricity torture. Sebastian walked in said \" Niklaus .\" \nNiklaus jolted slightly he looked at Sebastian he said \"I'm fine just thinking.\"\nSebastian walked over looked out window said \" Every time we close our eyes or go to sleep it's there. I know. It will get easier.\" \nNiklaus sat down said \" really she still out there raising two kids now like nothing happened. What happens when someone else starts seeking revenge for the things they did. This could end badly. I can't just sit her watch everyone act like white picket fence okay happy life.\"\nSebastian sat down said \" hey were not living happily every after we're just continuing on the best we can. We must keep fighting ,\" \nNiklaus nodes slowly said \" maybe that's the only thing we're good at now fighting...\"\n\nThe end\n\n\n\n",
