"description": ""The Forest of the Rats" is a creepypasta that features Sonic the Hedgehog and rats in a forest. The story starts with Sonic on a mission to save the world from the evil Dr. Eggman. While running through a dense forest, he comes across an eerie clearing. He notices that the clearing is covered in a thick layer of leaves and twigs, and the trees are stripped of their leaves and bark. As he enters the clearing, he hears a rustling noise and turns to see hundreds of rats emerging from the ground. The rats were bigger than any Sonic had ever seen, with matted fur, sharp teeth and glowing red eyes. They swarm around Sonic, squealing and gnashing their teeth. Sonic tries to outrun them but is overwhelmed by the sheer number of rats. However, he sees a glint of metal and grabs a sword, using it to fight off the rats. After the rats are defeated, Sonic realized the sword was cursed by the Rat King, an ancient powerful being who controlled the rats in the forest. This leaves Sonic with the sense that he has unleashed something terrible and that the curse of the Rat King will haunt him from now on.",
