"description": "বেলা তখন ১১টা! আকাশের সাঁজে মনে হচ্ছে সন্ধ্যে ৭টা। সূর্য লুকোচুরিতে ব্যস্ত। অনিমেষ প্রান্তরে পরাজেয় বীরের মতো সূর্য আজ কাঁদছে। প্রতিটি স্পর্শে তুষারের শুভ্রতা। শুভ্র লাঙ্গলের স্পর্শক ধরে গা খাঁটিয়ে বাড়িতে ঢুকলো। \nতরুতার আদরের ছেলে শুভ্র। বাবা অরুদ্রপাল তরুতার অকৃতজ্ঞতায় রাগান্বিত হয়ে দ্বিতীয় তরুতার কাছে চলে গেছে। এখন শুভ্রই পরিবারের নির্বাহিক। দুপুরের খাওয়া শেষে শুভ্র উঠানে কোনে কেমনটা অদ্ভূত চিন্তায় বসে আছে। মনে হচ্ছে আকাশ ঘন কালো হয়ে শুভ্রর দিকে তাকিয়ে বলছে, কিরে শুভ্র! কীসের চিন্তায় নত হয়ে আছিস? শহরের এক বড়সাহেব তাদের গাঁয়ে বেশ কয়েক জমি কিনে নিজের বিশাল বাড়ি বানিয়েছেন। বাড়ির ভেতর সুইমিংপুল থেকে শুরু করে পার্টি করার ছোট নাইট ক্লাব সবই আছে। শুভ্রও অনেকদিন বাড়ির কাজে হাত লাগিয়েছিল। সবেই বাড়ির কাজ শেষ হলো। শহরের কিছু শিক্ষিত ও ভদ্র সমাজ প্রতি মাসেই এখানে আসে। বাড়ির ভেতরর গানবাজনা ও ছোট কাপড়ের মেয়েদের দেখে গাঁয়ের লোকেরা ভালোভাবেই বুঝে নেয় ভেতরে কি হয়। বাড়িটি তিনতলা। দুতলায় ছোট নাইট ক্লাব। সম্পূর্ণ গ্লাসের তৈরী হওয়ায় বাহির থেকে ক্লাবের চিত্র ভালোই দেখা যায়। \nগতকাল রাতে শুভ্র বাজার থেকে বাড়ি ফিরছিলো। সাহেব বাড়ির সামনে এসেই দেখতে পেল প্রতিমাসের ন্যায় পার্টি চলছে, ছেলেমেয়ের মেলামেশা ও আরও বীভৎস কিছু চিত্র। মা অপেক্ষায় আছেন বলে কিছু না ভেবেই বাড়ি চলে গেল। আজকে উঠানে বসে আকাশের দিকে তাকিয়ে সেই কথাগুলোই ভাবছে। মাঠে কাজ করে দেহ ক্লান্ত। ক্লান্ত নিশ্বাসের সাথে সাথে তার ঘুম চলে আসে। বিকেলে আযানের পর তরুতা শুভ্রকে ডেকে দেয়। শুভ্রকে বাজারে যেতে হবে। ছেলের প্রতিদিনের বাজারেই তো সংসার চলে। বাজারে যাওয়ার পথে মনিব চাচার সাথে শুভ্রর দেখা। গাঁয়ের সবথেকে শিক্ষিত ব্যক্তি মনিব চাচা। বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীতে কর্মরত ছিলেন তিনি। বছর দুইএক হলো আবসরে আসলেন। কথাপ্রসঙ্গে শুভ্র সাহেব বাড়ির বিষয়টি তুলে ধরল। মনিব চাচার স্বর সাথে সাথেই নিচু হয়ে গেল। শহরের লোকেদের অত্যাচার গাঁয়ের লোকেরা সয়ে আসছে সেই আদিকাল থেকেই। সাল কয়েক অতিক্রম করে এখন ২০১৫ চলে আসছে। কিন্তু শিক্ষিতের লালঙ্ঘাত এখনো যায়নি। চাচা বললেন, বংশপ্রথা অনেক আগেই বিলুপ্ত হয়ে গেছে কিন্তু সেই লালঙ্ঘাতীদের রক্ত এখনো তাদের সন্তানদের মধ্যে রয়েগেছে। শুভ্র জানতে চাইলো, গাঁয়ের লোকেরা সহজসরল, মমতাময়ী, ভালোবাসায় আকৃষ্ট তবে শহরের শিক্ষিতরা এতো স্বার্থপর কেন? চাচা বললেন, এইসবই অতিরিক্ত শিক্ষা ও প্রযুক্তির আশীর্বাদের অভিশাপ। আশীর্বাদের অভিশাপ বিষয়টি শুভ্র ভালোভাবে বুঝে উঠতে পারেনি তবে কথাটি তার স্মৃতিতে গেঁথে যায়। শুভ্র যে একেবারে অশিক্ষিত তা মোটেও নয়। গাঁয়ের হাই স্কুল থেকে সে এইবার জেএসসি পরীক্ষা দেয়। তাই সাহেব বাড়ির কার্যকলাপ দিন দিন দেখে তার মধ্যে অনেক প্রশ্নের জন্ম হয়। \nগাঁয়ের ছেলেদের সাথে খেলাধুলা, মাঠে কাজের সময় গল্প এইসব শুভ্রর নিতান্ত বৈশিষ্ট্য ছিল। ধীরে ধীরে শুভ্রর কাছে থেকে এসব লুকায়িত হতে শুরু করে। সাহেব বাড়ি তার মাথায় চড়ে যায়। তার মধ্যে সুবোধের সন্ধানের অনুভূতি তৈরি হয়। প্রতিদিন রাতে ঘুমানোর সময় এই বিষয়গুলো চিন্তা করত এবং দিনের বেলা মনিব চাচার কাছে এই বিষয়ে অনেক প্রশ্ন করত। মনিব চাচা তাকে সাহেবদের বিলাসীতা বিষয়ে অনেক বই পড়তে দিলেন। দিনকয়েকের মধ্যে একটি দৃশ্য শুভ্রর আকর্ষণ কেড়ে নিল। শুভ্রর কল্পনার জগতে একটি দৃশ্য যোগ হলো। শ্রাবণের দিনে সন্ধ্যা পরে শুভ্র বাজার থেকে বাড়ি ফিরছে। সে দেখলো গাঁয়ের শিক্ষিত যুবকেরাও সেই সাহেব বাড়ির পার্টিতে যাচ্ছে। মনিব চাচার খোঁজে পরে সে জানলো যে গাঁয়ের এই যুবকেরা অনেকদিন থেকেই শহরের ভদ্র সমাজের সাথে যোগ দেয় এবং গাঁ থেকে কোনো জিনিসের দরকার হলে তারাই ব্যবস্থা করে দেয়। শুভ্র একটু ভাবুক হয়ে গেল কথাগুলো শুনে। সে আগে ভাবতো শহরের ভদ্র সমাজই কেবল এই খারাপ কাজগুলো করে। এখন সে দেখছে গাঁ ও শহর উভয় জায়গায়ই অতি শিক্ষিতরা লালঙ্ঘাতী হয়ে পড়ে। শুভ্রর চিন্তার বাক্সে একটু ভাবনার জন্ম হয়। এখন শুভ্রর মনে দুইটি প্রশ্নের উন্মেষ। প্রথমটি, অতি শিক্ষিতরা কেন লালঙ্ঘাতী বা খারাপ হয়ে পরে এবং দ্বিতীয়টি, শহরেই কেন লালঙ্ঘাত বা খারাপের সূচনা হয়? শুভ্র উত্তরের সন্ধান তাকে পাশের গাঁয়ের আদনান ভাইয়ার কাছে নিয়ে গেল। আদনান ভাইয়া ঢাকা থাকেন। গত বছর বিসিএস দিয়ে শহরের একটি কলেজে চাকরী ধরেছেন। আদনান ভাইয়ার সাথে কথার আদলে সে তার মধ্যে একটি সুপ্ত চিন্তাময় একটি শুভ্রকে খুঁজে পেল। সিদ্ধান্ত করল সকল প্রশ্নের উত্তর সরাসরি খুঁজতে শহরে যাবে। \nশহরে এসে শুভ্র প্রথমেই পতিতালয়ের সন্ধান পেল। আদনান ভাইয়ার হোস্টেলেই শুভ্র ছিল। হোস্টেলের পাশেই ছিল খোলা ময়দানের পতিতালয়। শুভ্র লক্ষ্য করলো খারাপ, ভালো, শিক্ষিত, ভদ্র সবারই আনাগোনা হয় এখানে। তারপর কিছুদূর যেতেই দেখল ভার্সিটির মেয়েদের ছোট ছোট কাপড়ের হাঁসিখেলা। শহরে খারাপদের পাশাপাশি ভালোদের বসবা",
