But fiction and poetry have always been very important to me as a reader and writer, and I have also published two books of poetry, several short story collections and most recently my first novel, Hire Lernin’: An Idealist’s Quest Through the Realm of for-Profit Education, which is a lightly fictionalized version of my first posting out of law school as dean of a for-profit school of business in the late 1980s knowing nothing about the industry.",

He was five years old and fervently wanted to be a fire fighter like his dad, a decorated veteran firefighter. He was buried with his dad's commendation on his chest.
