"first_page_text": "Train Ride\n\nIt was the holidays once again \nThe air was electric with anticipation \nEverything was decorated for the season \nPeople were jubilant \nBright colors and lights were scattered around \nThe trains were running between two large cities on their usual run \n\nThis particular train was at the station \nIt was waiting for its passengers to board \nIt would be traveling north \nTo the next large city \nIt was early evening — around 6\nThe trip would take about 3 hours \n\nFor the season, the bar area was brightly decorated \nLights were even put on the outside of the train \nThe look was very festive \n\nPassengers started to board\nDressed for the weather \nIn winter coats and hats\nMany carrying packages \nSome wrapped in beautiful paper \n\nIt was brisk outside \nThe air was crisp and fresh \nBreath hung in the air like vapor \n\nThe train was readying to leave \nSteam began rising \nThe whistle blew as the doors closed \nWarning that the train was about to leave \nEver so slightly the train started moving away from the station \n\nAs the train made its way north \nIt started to pick up speed \nThe rhythm of its travel pounding \nlike a faint drumbeat to the ear\nIt was hypnotic and calming \nCalling sleep to the listener \n\nFaint music played in the background to set the mood \n\nPeople were happy in their seats\nTalking, some sleeping, some reading or on their phones \nOthers just watched the sights\nEveryone glad to be heading north \n\nSome were going home \nSome only visiting \nEvery one excited about the trip \nAnxious to arrive \n\nAfter three hours or so, the train started to slow \nIt was arriving at its next stop \n\nPassengers put on their coats and hats\nThey gathered up their belongings \nAs the train pulled into the station \nthe passengers lined up to leave \n\nAs people filed into the station they made their way out\nEither to another train or to exit \nHundreds of people walked onto the street above \nCreating a momentary crowd\n\nTaxis arrived to take people to their homes or locations \n\nOthers decided to walk or catch a subway \n\nHotels were brimming with guests \nDecorated in their best \n\nThe streets were filled with people \nComing and going \nThe air smelled of the holidays \nStores were crowded as shoppers reviewed their wares\n\nA street fair was going on nearby selling homemade crafts from local artists \nCoffee shops were brewing fresh coffee \n\nThe city was alive \nDecorated in its best\nColors everywhere\nRed, green, blues, gold, and silver \n\nStreet were vendors selling hot pretzels \nOthers with apple cider or hot chocolate\n\nIt was a beautiful sight to behold \nThis was New York at its best \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n",
